Where does the lamp stand give light and olive tree grow?

Recently I have been swept up in a Holy Spirit fever or perhaps I am just operating as designed. My attention is drawn to the coming day of a great harvest, for there is nothing new to this first earth, under this sun. These verses speak of the day where the Lord judges each of us according to our hearts - those who believe with those who have rejected him.

Matthew 3:11-12 ESV
“I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Matthew 13:30 ESV
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’

Revelation 11:3 ESV
[3] And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

When will these two witnesses join together?  I wonder if they will gather before the day of their witnessing. If they will be lifelong friends. For 2 are better than 1. Iron sharpens iron. I presume they will be (or perhaps are currently) individuals who walk this first earth brought together with divine acts a red thread woven in each their lives until the moment their threads bind together for a rope made of three strands is strong. Surely this will be known to them, for their path is written?  All mystery's of course but I ponder this still.

It had me thinking. Are we not all those who believe, also serving as witnesses to the truth? We do have a living testimony inside us, the same power that conquered death!

John 14:15-17 ESV
[15] “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. [16] And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, [17] even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

Acts 1:8 ESV
[8] But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I am not my own, for every breath I owe to Him and He is with me wherever I go. With the Holy Spirit inside we are to be witnesses of His goodness, grace and mercy. (So that all may know, a secret this good is worth sharing with all)

So how would one begin to share? This i wonder. I didn't see any four year degree requirements mentioned in the Bible but I did find this:

1 Corinthians 14:24-25 ESV
[24] But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, [25] the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.

So by causing great conviction with prophetic words that touch the hearts of men... these two will bring many to know the hope, faith and love of Jesus Christ. Acting as megaphones for God's coming Glory by prophesying in the last days.

And so I know begin my journey of heavenly pursuit with great conviction:

1 Corinthians 14:1 ESV
[1] Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

So will you too earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, particularly the gift of prophecy? Or be caught in a slumber. Wake up O sleeper! I was asleep but in the light I can see with my opened eyes.

John 3:8 ESV
[8] The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

So who would be a candidate for the 1260 days (3.5 years) of sackcloth and prophecy? A curious mind ponders but I do not know.

While the identify of two remains a mystery to us (I wonder if the angels know...) in the meantime we are instructed:

Mark 16:15 NIV
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Matthew 28:18-20 ESV
[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
