Seeking the 5 crowns

I no longer seek a crown on this earth 

Though my name means 'little king' 

I seek the 5 crowns promised in the next

For when I prayed for wisdom

I was gifted fear of the Lord that begets freedom from anxiety

For fear of the Lord is the TRULY the begining of wisdom

And with wisdom you have eyes to see what is true

For there is truth in the words:

For the word of the of the Lord is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. (Psalm 33:4 NIV)

Those who are faithful are made righteous 

(2 Timothy 4:8) “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

On that day we will be rewarded according to how we loved others and lived like Christ.

Not at all by our own merit

For life is merest breath

This is why I live as a slave for Christ

So I can wear the crowns in heaven

And none here
