Today's readings and meditation I share:
Psalm 94:7-8, 11-13, 17-19, 22 ESV
[7] and they say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.” [8] Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?
...
[11] the Lord—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath. [12] Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law, [13] to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.
...
[17] If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. [18] When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. [19] When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
...
[22] But the Lord has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge.

Jeremiah 2:2 ESV
[2] “Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord, “I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

Hosea 2:18-23 ESV
[18] And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety. [19] And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. [20] I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord. [21] “And in that day I will answer, declares the Lord, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth, [22] and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jezreel, [23] and I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’; and he shall say, ‘You are my God.’”

For it is Elohai, my God, who plants and sows.
"It is to say, my beginning and my end, my hope and my salvation, my whole and only good, in whom Alone I will hope, whom alone I will fear, love, worship, trust in, obey and serve, with all my heart, mind, soul and strength; my God and my all." - Barnes Notes on the Bible
This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’ -Zechariah 13:9
While the former covenant has broken and dissolved a new covenant waits for me...or perhaps it begins already? For as Christ as his loved the Church as his bride should not I do the same, if I am to love and live like Christ? This be a new covenant founded upon righteousness and judgment, mercy and compassion, that which will stand for ever and ever.
Ah but after a second look, this New Covenant is already in place, through faith by believing the unseen but what is known in my heart of flesh:
And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood." Luke 22:20
Hebrews 8:6-7 ESV
[6] But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises. [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.
