holy x3

How unworthy are we (apart from Christ)!

Exodus 33:20 ESV
[20] But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live.”

For even the celestial being cover themselves in His presense.

Isaiah 6:2-5 NASB2020
[2] Seraphim were standing above Him, each having six wings: with two each covered his face, and with two each covered his feet, and with two each flew. [3] And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of armies. The whole earth is full of His glory.” [4] And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke. [5] Then I said, “Woe to me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies.”

Without ceasing they praise Him. For He alone is distinctly God. All purity. He absorbs the glory, all the beauty snd splendor and moral purity.

Revelation 4:8 NASB2020
[8] And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”

Only by faith in the death, resurrection of Christ and forgiveness of sins can we share in the the coming Glory. For we are made in His image but have fallen short since the time where man and woman thought they could become like God.

2 Corinthians 3:12-18 NASB2020
[12] Therefore, having such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech, [13] and we are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not stare at the end of what was fading away. [14] But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. [15] But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts; [16] but whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. [17] Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [18] But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

For this world began it's decay in Eden. So it will end with a new Eden - something I long for with great anticipation.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NASB2020
[16] Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day. [17] For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, [18] while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

For the unseen is eternal. This life here is only a vapor that appears for a little while then vanishes.

Q: I ask then what will do with your time on this earth?

A: As for me: I believe; therefore I speak.

For I know of a great prize. A peace. A love that surpassing all all all understanding. Just as he did in the beginning so has he done in my heart:

2 Corinthians 4:6 NASB2020
[6] For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
