To be finished sometime later...

What would happen if for some strange reason, all the adults in the world were wiped out? If only those younger than 17 were around? (this is negligent of my sister, my brothers and little kids- because I want it to be, names are also changed to protect personel right and probably addresses too w/e)

It was a Wednesday morning when I woke up to the sound of my alarm. The alarm buzzing is one of those sounds you just hate to hear. Grudgingly I woke up and put on some clothes that were I had folded the night before. After going upstairs and eating breakfast I headed back downstairs to brush my teeth. I began thinking about what we were going to be doing today in school when I relized that I hadn’t seen mom or dad yet. Usually they are up before I go to school. As I went upstairs I was greeted by my cat Simba- a partial Siamese with long hair and blue eyes. I picked him up and wlaked over to my parents room. I knocked slightly on the door as I pushed it open. I looked over toward the bed and saw that the sheets were in place and my parents weren’t there. I walked over to check, placeing Simba at the foot of the bed. Laying on the pillow were a bunch of metal chunks. I picked them up and rolled the metal around in my hand. They almost look like fillings, I thought to myself. Recalling the dream I had the night before I felt blood rush to my face as the thought of my dream actually becoming a reality. I ripped back the sheets to reveal only pajamas, folded in a way as if my parents had simply vanished. Rapidly I began recalling the events of my dream, the electricity and water being shut off, the stealing and anarchy, and the disease, starvation, and death in the later years. I told my self that they just went somewhere this morning. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I waited for the bus until 8:00- I began to realize what had happened. I ran outside and jumped into my white Lumina van. I had to check to be sure. Driving towards 60 I saw a black SUV in the ditch and pulled over. I quietly got out. I yelled out a hello but was answered by silence. More confidently I walked down into the ditch and looked into the SUV, which was still running. To my horror, a set of clothes neatly rested in the seat. I was surprised at my own reation. I opened the door calmly, shut off the engine went back and sat in my van. Turning my van around, I headed for the blue farm house I called home.
When I came inside I laid down on the couch. First I thought of my parents, wondering if this was really happening. Then, I thought of why. Why would this happen? Is this the rapture? Are my parents with God now? I grabbed the bible that my mom had always used and read all the verses that mentioned the rapture and found nothing.
